Not only do I love them fresh, but really enjoy drying them for use in the winter months. This year, I made a separate garden in the front of my main vegetable garden to grow even more herbs. I have taken several harvests from many of them already and it's only the beginning of July. I do use them in my recipes for sausage and Sicilian spaghetti sauce that I sell at the markets, so keeping as much as I can keeps me from buying it from the store. Plus it tastes so much better! I grew all of these from organic seed, many from which I seed saved.

I used to live in a townhouse- I took out the rock they had in front and plant herbs and grew things vertical. Don't ask, just do :) You can always transplant them back to pots.

Good thinking! I saw a vertical idea using pallets on Pinterest, I may go that route next summer.
